Brahmi in Artyl capsule have Anti-Hypertensive Activity, Neuroprotective, Anti-inflammatory action in the CNS, Anxiolytic, Anti-depressant, Sedative, and Adaptogenic actions, Cyto-protective and Antioxidant. It calms sympathetic nervous system. Shunthi and Brahmi have calcium channel blocking activity as well as Nitric Oxide mediated vaso dilation activity. It reduces force of contraction of heart, causes relaxation of CNS, lowers heart rate, causes vaso-relaxation, reduces peripheral resistance and cardiac output; and thereby lowers hypertension.
