Background: Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat’s cultural capital and an industrial hub, serves a diverse population including professionals, university academics, industrial workers, and heritage-city residents. The clinic at Sama-Chhani Road captures this heterogeneous Vadodara population, with unique clinical complexity including insulin-dependent patients – presenting the CDC protocol’s effectiveness at the complex end of the diabetes management spectrum.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of the Madhavbaug CDC Panchakarma-based multimodal protocol on glycaemic, anthropometric, haemodynamic, and cardiometabolic parameters, and antidiabetic medication reduction, in 30 DM Package patients at Sama-Chhani Road Vadodara Clinic.

Methods: Retrospective observational study. 30 patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus enrolled in the DM Package (CDC SP Base/1/2/3, CDC KP Base/2/3) at Sama-Chhani Road Vadodara Clinic. Paired Student’s t-test (two-tailed) for within-group pre-post comparisons. Significance: p < 0.05

Results: HbAlc: 8.00±1.43% → 7.27±1.11% (Δ -0.73%, -9.1%, p = 0.01 n = 16 ) . Weight: -2.36 kg (-3.3%, p < 0.001 ) BMI: -0.87 kg/m² (-3.4%, p < 0.001 ) Abdominal girth: -2.85 cm (-2.9%, p = 0.002 ). Heart rate: -4.71 bpm (-5.4%, p = 0.027 ) RBS trend: -29.66 mg/dL (-12.0%, p = 0.059 n = 29 .

Conclusion: Vadodara’s Sama-Chhani Road clinic achieved statistically significant improvements in HbAlc (-9.1%, p = 0.01 ). weight (p<0.001), BMI (p < 0.001) abdominal girth (-2.85 cm, p = 0.002 ), and heart rate (-5.4%, p = 0.027 ) in 30 DM Package patients. The protocol’s efficacy in this diverse Vadodara cohort, including insulin-dependent patients, demonstrates its applicability across the full T2DM complexity spectrum.
